Jacqueline Delfgaauw, PhD has a wide range of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jacqueline has held various leadership positions at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, including Vice President, Head of Research & Development Operations and Vice President, Head of Research & Development within the Science and Technology Organization. Jacqueline also served as Vice President, Head of Clinical Development. Prior to Mallinckrodt, Delfgaauw worked as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at LEXEO Therapeutics. Jacqueline has also held roles at Analgesic Solutions and DELFGAAUW LLC as an Executive Director and Clinical Development Professional, respectively. Their earliest work experience includes positions at Grünenthal Group as an Executive Director, where they were responsible for clinical product development in Latin America and the United States. Delfgaauw's research career includes roles at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Albert Einstein College of Medicine as a Post Doctoral Fellow, and at the University of Wuerzburg as a PhD student.

Jacqueline Delfgaauw, PhD has a diverse education history. In 1997, they obtained a Master's degree in Biotechnology, specializing in Microencapsulation of Cells and Tissues, from Julius-Maximilians-University in Wuerzburg, Germany. Jacqueline further pursued their studies at the same university and earned a PhD in the Medical Department, specifically in the Institute for Physiological Chemistry I at Biocenter, from 1999 to 2003.

In 2004, Jacqueline attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, USA, where they participated in The Belfer Institute for Advanced Biomedical Studies, focusing on the Pathobiology of Disease.

Jacqueline continued their educational journey by completing a Special Pain Therapy program at the University Clinic Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel, Germany, from 2007 to 2008.

Jacqueline enhanced their leadership skills through various programs. In 2011, they attended the Wharton School, specializing in Organizational Leadership. The same year, they completed a Leadership training program, titled "Licence to Lead," at Proaktiv Academy in Köln, Germany.

In 2013, Jacqueline participated in the MARGA – The General Management Business Simulation program at ESMT European School of Management and Technology.

To further develop their executive leadership abilities, they attended the INSEAD Executive Leadership Program in 2015-2016.

Lastly, Jacqueline obtained a certification in Managing Up from LinkedIn in the year 2020.
