Mark Tyndall is the executive vice president and chief legal officer & corporate secretary at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. He has executive responsibility for all legal functions, serves as the primary liaison to the Mallinckrodt Board of Directors and is a member of Mallinckrodt’s executive committee. Mr. Tyndall is also responsible for Mallinckrodt’s government affairs and patient advocacy functions.
Mr. Tyndall is a highly experienced leader with deep expertise in healthcare law, global public policy and patient advocacy.
Since joining Mallinckrodt in 2014, Mr. Tyndall has held several roles at the company, most recently serving as senior vice president and U.S. general counsel. Prior to Mallinckrodt, Mr. Tyndall served as head of global policy and public affairs at Bayer Healthcare's Consumer Health division, where he established the global policy function, oversaw the division's worldwide trade association activities, and served as the primary policy advisor to the global president and senior management team. Earlier in his career, Mr. Tyndall practiced healthcare and political law at Sidley Austin LLP. He is also a former professional staff member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry.
Mr. Tyndall holds a Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School, a master’s degree in Public Policy from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Christopher Newport University.
