James Peddell is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology and defense sectors. Currently serving as Director at Black Jellyfish Ltd. since May 2019, James is focused on building networks of sector experts and emerging technology companies. In addition, James holds roles as Chief Technology Consultant for Canny Comms and Black Jellyfish, Board Advisor for strategy and business development at Malloy Aeronautics Ltd., and Board Advisor for defense technology at EarSwitch. Previously, James was Head of Innovation & Partnerships at Roke and held various strategic roles at Dstl and the UK Ministry of Defence, where responsibilities included leading technology strategies, managing collaborative defense research initiatives, and enhancing international defense cooperation. James holds a BSc in Physics from the University of York and has educated at St Benedicts College and Imperial College London.
