Neil Appleton

Neil Appleton is an experienced executive in the aerospace and defense sector, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Malloy Aeronautics Ltd. since February 2024. Prior to this, Neil held various leadership positions at BAE Systems for nearly two decades, including Head of Electric Products in the Air Sector and Chief of Staff for Group Business Development. Key responsibilities included managing global business development teams, overseeing major contracts, and delivering improvement programs. Neil's achievements at BAE Systems encompassed successful stakeholder management, governance enhancements, and significant cost savings across various projects. Neil began a career at MBDA as a Manufacturing & Production Engineer, following completion of an MSc in Project Management at the University of Central Lancashire.
