Kelley Strawn

Kelley Strawn serves as the Associate Provost for Institutional Research and Professor of Sociology at Willamette University since August 2005. With expertise in research methods, political sociology, social movements, and economic change, Kelley teaches various courses including social statistics and introduction to sociology. Previous roles include Assistant Provost for Institutional Research, where Kelley provided analytical reports to university leadership and coordinated institutional assessments and accreditation efforts. Additionally, Kelley held the position of Faculty Associate Dean for Curriculum, focusing on curricular planning and assessment procedures. In 2023, Kelley ran as a candidate for the Zone 4 seat on the Salem-Keizer School Board, emphasizing the significance of education for students and families. Kelley's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master's degree in Political Science from Boston University.
