Continuing their academic journey, Amadé Regehr returned to Leiden University from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Modern Middle Eastern Studies. In 2009, they also studied Standard Arabic and Egyptian Arabic dialect at the Netherlands-Flemish Institute in Cairo.
