Majk Mirkovic

Majk Mirkovic is an experienced professional in the media and culture sector with a strong focus on advocacy for marginalized communities. Currently serving as Executive Officer at Mama Cash since December 2018, Majk provides executive support and enhances communication within the organization. As a co-founder of Stichting queer.red since October 2019, Majk promotes the visibility and rights of sex workers. Previous roles include Programmer and co-founder at TranScreen, the only transgender film festival in the Netherlands, and Production Executive at VICE Media Benelux. Majk has also held production roles at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam and VPRO, along with volunteer positions in various film-related organizations. Majk holds a Master of Arts in Media and Culture from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in the same field.
