Brittney Strachn

Brittney Strachn is an experienced school counselor currently working at Mamaroneck Union Free School District since August 2022, previously serving as the Director of Guidance at Monsignor Scanlan High School from August 2015 to August 2022. In this role, Brittney managed a team of three, developed and facilitated programs for college preparation, and maintained relationships with college admissions representatives. Brittney’s background includes a position as Guidance Assistant at Mount Saint Michael Academy, where strong connections with college counselors were established, and early career experience as a school counselor intern at Leake and Watts Services, Inc. Brittney holds a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Mercy College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
