Alex Barten

Alex Barten currently serves as the Engineering Director of Daily Banking at Mambu since December 2024. Prior to this role, Alex was the Director of Engineering at Catawiki, where strategic initiatives focused on mentoring junior engineers, enhancing API structures, and improving career paths for engineering teams. Alex’s extensive experience at ING spanned over 17 years in various leadership positions, including IT Chapter Lead for Finance Integration and Finance Data, where responsibilities encompassed leading DevOps teams and transforming system architectures. Early career roles included designing interbank transaction systems and pioneering development projects at Postbank and ING, starting as a High Potential Trainee.
