Koen Harthoorn

Koen Harthoorn has a diverse work experience in various industries. Koen started their career as a Facility Staff at Rabobank in 2006 and later worked as a Night Porter at Hotel Pierre from 2007 to 2008. Koen then worked as a Bartender at Café de stunt from 2008 to 2009, where they gained communication skills and developed relationships. Koen then transitioned to the IT field, working as a System Administrator at IPS Technology from 2009 to 2011. Following that, they ventured into freelancing as an IT & web services provider at eKoen from 2012 to 2013. Koen also worked as a Computer Repair Technician at Uw Computerstudent from 2014 to 2016. Koen then gained experience in the engineering sector, initially as a Student Engineer at ALE from 2015 to 2016, and later as a Project Engineer from 2016 to 2020. Their most recent role is as a Lead Engineer at Mammoet, where they are involved in finding solutions to heavy lifting and transport challenges, working closely with clients to develop efficient approaches.

Koen Harthoorn obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2007 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Christelijke Scholengemeenschap Walcheren from 1999 to 2006, completing their high school education in the field of Natural Sciences. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in GWO (Global Wind Organisation) from Safe site in September 2017 and VCA VOL from Koninklijke PBNA in March 2015.
