Jens Steinhagen has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Jens began their career as a Pilot in the German Air Force, where they flew various aircraft types and served in different units. After leaving the military, they joined Boeing in 2001 as a Program Manager, leading large and complex aircraft modification and conversion programs. Jens later became a Senior Business Development Manager and then a Director at Boeing before transitioning to Mammoth Freighters in 2023 as the Senior Vice President of Program Management.

Jens Steinhagen has a diverse education history. Jens started their education at Immanuel Kant Schule in Neumuenster, Germany. Later, they enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Germany, where they earned a degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering). Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Project Management at The George Washington University School of Business. Lastly, they completed a program in Organizational Leadership at the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business.

Mammoth Freighters

Mammoth Freighters LLC (Mammoth) was founded in December of 2020 to design, develop, convert, and support the development of passenger to freighter conversions. The launch type is the Boeing 777 (both the 200 LR and 300 ER variants). The Mammoth converted 777 is one of the most productive and economical 777 long range freighters in the world. Mammoth, a Boeing Licensee for the Boeing 777, is developing a global production and conversion site network which will include its Ft. Worth, Alliance Texas Facility as well as additional conversion capacity planned at three other sites around the world. Mammoth is backed by private investment funds managed by Fortress Investment Group LLC and its affiliates. Mammoth is based in Orlando, Florida with engineering offices in Escondido, California and Seattle, Washington.
