Edward Van Tassell

Edward Van Tassell has worked in the tech industry since 1999. Edward'scareer began at Globalcenter as a Sr. Technical Account Manager, a role in which they managed a four-person team of technical account managers and was the technical contact for large web firms hosted at GlobalCenter media distribution centers. In 2001, they moved to Xdrive as a System Administrator, responsible for installation and maintenance of all xdrive servers including production environments, QA and development. In 2006, they took a role as a Sr. System Administrator at Userplane. After a year, they moved to AOL, where they held the same position. In 2013, they began working at Yahoo as a Service Engineer, contracted for project rewire, a global datacenter consolidation effort. Edward then moved to Speek in 2014, where they held the role of DevOps Lead, responsible for both physical and cloud assets. Currently, they are the Dir. Network Ops at Mammoth Media (formerly Science Mobile).

Edward Van Tassell attended Alfred University from 1994 to 1996, where they studied English literature and Psychology. Edward then attended the University at Buffalo from 1996 to 1997, where they studied Computer Science.
