Matthias Weber

Matthias Weber has extensive work experience in strategic and indirect purchasing. Matthias is currently working at MAN Energy Solutions as the Head of Corporate Strategic and Indirect Purchasing, holding the position of Senior Vice President starting in July 2023. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President in the same department from February 2021 to June 2023. In addition, Matthias Weber worked at MAN Energy Solutions SE as the Head of Purchasing for Engine/Turbocharger, holding the position of Vice President from September 2018 to February 2021. Before that, they held the role of Vice President at MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, where they were responsible for Purchasing Strategy Processes and Systems from November 2013 to August 2018. Alongside their corporate roles, they also worked as a Lehrbeauftragter Operations Management Purchasing at Hochschule Augsburg since September 2017.

Matthias Weber completed a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (Industrial Engineering and Management) from Universität Karlsruhe (TH) between 1997 and 2003. Later, between 2009 and 2011, they pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Wirtschaftsjurist (Business Law) from Universität des Saarlandes.
