Prashant Panigrahi

Prashant Panigrahi is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in software development and research in the telecommunications and IoT sectors. Prashant currently serves as a Research and Development Engineer at MAN Energy Solutions since May 2024 and holds a position as a Senior Software Engineer at Sigma Connectivity focusing on Google Wear OS since January 2021. Previous roles include Senior Developer at Ericsson, where Prashant contributed to 5G NR features, and Senior Software Engineer at Sony Mobile Communications, developing LTE and IMS/VoLTE features. Prashant has also worked in various capacities at Sigma Designs, ST-Ericsson, Motorola Mobile Devices, and NetHawk Oyj, utilizing programming languages such as C, C++, and Java, as well as technologies including LTE and Z-Wave. Prashant earned a Master’s degree in Computer Application from Utkal University from 1999 to 2004.
