Kashif Hussain

Kashif Hussain is currently working as the Head of Software Update at MAN Truck & Bus SE since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Product Owner, Product Manager, Team Lead, and Enabler at the same company starting from January 2020. From July 2017 to December 2019, Kashif worked as a Product Owner at MAN Truck & Bus SE.

Before joining MAN Truck & Bus SE, Kashif worked at Marelli from April 2013 to June 2017 as a Senior Team Lead. In this role, they were responsible for the design, architecture, and development of car infotainment and telematics systems for premium vehicle OEMs. Kashif also served as a Product Owner and Scrum Master in Agile Development Teams.

Prior to Marelli, Kashif worked at BMW Group from December 2008 to March 2013 as a Lead Consultant in Infotainment & Telematics. Kashif played a key role in the design and development of Customer Initiated Software Update and Remote Upgrade features. Kashif also managed requirements analysis, CR management, and supplier management.

Kashif's work experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer (Student Trainee) at Nokia from June 2006 to October 2008, and as a Software Test Engineer (Trainee) at ACCESS Europe GmbH from November 2005 to May 2006.

Kashif started their career as a Software Technical Support Engineer at Wipro Limited from June 2004 to February 2005, and as an Engineering Intern at Tata Motors for a brief period from June 2003 to August 2003.

Kashif Hussain has a diverse education background. Kashif obtained their Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University in 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen from 2005 to 2008. In 2019, Kashif attended INSEAD and completed the program "Leading in a Transforming World," focusing on Digital Transformation, Disruption, and Transforming Business Landscape. Additionally, they hold various certifications, including Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
