Marta Martinez Echavarri

Marta Martinez Echavarri has a diverse work experience. Marta started their career as an intern at MPG in 2010 and 2011, where they conducted research and implemented sustainability measures. Marta also worked as an intern at EMC in 2012, assisting with distribution and inventory management. Later in 2013, they joined Wayra as a Finance employee, where they conducted financial analysis and budget control. Subsequently, they worked at Telefonica in their Intellectual Property and Patents department for a brief period. In 2014, Marta worked at BBVA in the Institutional Custody department, followed by a role at Deloitte as an Associate/Senior Associate in Financial Services Tax, where they participated in international consulting projects. Marta then joined PwC UK in 2017 as a Senior Associate/Manager, before moving to Man Group in 2018. At Man Group, they held positions as a Manager/Senior Manager and is currently the Director and Co-Head of Product Tax.

Marta Martinez Echavarri completed their education in a chronological manner. Marta attended Montealto from 1993 to 2008, completing their Bachillerato de Ciencias Sociales. From 2008 to 2014, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Management and another B.A.Sc. degree in Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Additionally, from 2012 to 2013, they studied Law & Business Administration and Management at the University of Lodz.
