Richard Baker has over thirty years of work experience in various roles. Richard began their career in 1988 as a Channel Management Software Manager at IBM. In 1997, they moved to CoServ as a Sales & Marketing Consultant. In 1998, they joined GTE Communications as a Product Marketing Manager. After GTE and Verizon merged, they were retained at Genuity Network Infrastructure as a Project Manager. In 2001, they became a Sales Manager at Saturn. In 2004, they were the Business Communications Manager at Redeeming Love Worship Center. In 2009, they began working as a Route Manager at Waste Management. In 2011, they became an Account Manager at Office Depot. In 2014, they joined RealPage, Inc. as a Strategic Account Manager and Senior Team Lead. Currently, they are the Director of Account Management at ManageAmerica | Online Property Management Software.

Richard Baker attended Dallas Baptist University from 2009 to 2016, where they studied Business/Corporate Communications. In October 2018, they obtained a certification in Lead to Exceed from Real Page College Of Business.
