Betty Collier

Betty Collier has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple industries. In their most recent role as a Medical Case Manager at Managed Care Advisors, they provided support to the United States Department of Labor Office of Workers' Compensation Programs. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Medical Information Specialist at Med Communications, Inc., where they responded to inquiries from healthcare professionals and provided accurate and balanced product information. Betty also has extensive experience as a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager, having held positions at Genex Services, Intracorp, and Bunch & Associates. In these roles, they were responsible for managing the entire continuum of care for injured workers and acted as an intermediary between various stakeholders. Earlier in their career, Betty served as a Field Medical Case Manager at BRI Case Management, where they managed the medical case management process for the City of Memphis Police and Fire Department. Betty also held a position as the Chief of the Medical Care Cost Recovery Program at the Veterans Administration hospital, where they managed the program and supervised a team of employees. Additionally, Betty worked as a Computer Programmer Analyst at Mid-South Foundation for Medical Care, where they developed and supported computer systems. Betty began their career as a Staff Nurse at Methodist Hospitals.

Betty Collier completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Memphis, which they attended from 1988 to 1991. Prior to that, they obtained a Nursing degree from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, where they studied from 1984 to 1986. In addition to their degrees, Betty Collier obtained the Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) in December 1995.
