Georgette Sierra has an extensive background in government affairs and public policy. Georgette most recently served as the Vice President, Government Affairs at the Managed Funds Association since July 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director, U.S. Public Policy at Credit Suisse from September 2022 to July 2023. From September 2018 to September 2022, they were the Director of Government Affairs at BNP Paribas. Georgette has also held various roles in government organizations, including Vice President of Government Affairs at the Bank Policy Institute from April 2014 to June 2018, Chief of Staff at the U.S. House of Representatives from October 2013 to April 2014, Legislative Director at the US House of Representatives from January 2013 to October 2013, Senior Legislative Assistant at the US House of Representatives from January 2011 to January 2013, and Legislative Aide at the US House of Representatives from January 2009 to January 2011. Georgette has also worked in the private sector as the Director, Government Relations at Grant Thornton LLP from September 2007 to May 2008 and as a Manager, Federal Government Relations at USAA from January 2001 to September 2007.
Georgette Sierra attended James Madison University from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
