Willemijn van Kooten is a skilled researcher and educator with experience spanning various academic roles and institutions. Currently serving as Project Assistant at the Josef Ressel Center for Security Analysis of IoT Devices (JSAID) since July 2023 and as Teaching & Research Assistant at MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® since October 2022, Willemijn has previously worked as a Doctoral Researcher at Universität Potsdam, focusing on a PhD project related to tectonics and crustal inhomogeneities. Additional experience includes roles as a Student Teaching Assistant and Student Research Assistant at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck. Willemijn van Kooten holds a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Potsdam, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Earth Sciences from Universität Innsbruck and the University of Hamburg.
