Rose Echols has over 20 years of experience in project controls and management. Rose is currently working as a Senior Project Controls Specialist at Management Solutions, LLC, where they focus on project management and helping organizations improve profitability and efficiency. Prior to this, they worked at Alstom Power as a Senior Planner for Carbon Capture Systems R&D Programs. Rose was responsible for managing work package schedules, budgets, and forecasts, as well as preparing monthly reports and analysis of key deliverables.
Before joining Alstom Power, Rose worked at Management Solutions, LLC as a Senior Project Controls Engineer. Rose was involved in earned value project management for DOE capital Line Item Projects, General Plant Projects, and expense projects at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Rose also played a role in developing procedures and implementing a certified DOE Order.
Rose has also worked at SAIC as a Senior Project Control Engineer, where they coordinated project setup, schedule baselines, cost tracking, change control tracking, earned value setup, and resource loading for multiple projects. Rose started their career at IT Corporation, where they worked as a Senior Project Control Engineer and Project Coordinator. In these roles, they managed a $50MM Air Force program and coordinated project control efforts for an IT's largest commercial client.
Rose Echols earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Clothing, Textiles/Related Arts from Virginia Tech between 1975 and 1979. Rose then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville between 1982 and 1984.
