Sergio de Juan is a seasoned materials scientist with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in high-performance composites. Currently serving as R&D Manager at Managing Composites, Sergio leads initiatives in new materials and supports engineering teams with scientific expertise. In addition to this role, Sergio evaluates project proposals as an Independent Expert for Výskumná agentúra and the European Commission, focusing on Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions and CleanSky 2 Joint Undertaking. Previously, Sergio worked at FIDAMC - Airbus as a Composites R&D Scientist and held a visiting research position at Polytechnique Montréal. Sergio's academic credentials include a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, along with a Master’s and Technic Aeronautical Engineering degree from respected institutions.
