Brian Iten

General Counsel at Manatee County Sheriff's Office

Brian Iten is the current General Counsel at Manatee County Sheriff's Office. Prior to this, they served as a Circuit Judge for the State of Florida from December 2015 to January 2019. Brian has also been an Adjunct Professor at State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota from May 2011 to December 2015, and an Instructor at National Computer Forensic Institute from March 2019 to February 2020. Brian Iten started their career as an Assistant County Attorney at Office of the County Attorney in January 2019, before becoming an Instructor at Manatee Technical College (Law Enforcement Academy) from April 2013 to October 2015. Brian then became an Assistant State Attorney at State Attorney's Office, 12th Judicial Circuit in August 1994 and served in this role until December 2015.

Brian Iten attended the University of South Florida for their Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and then Florida State University College of Law for their Doctor of Law.
