Scott Pearson

Scott Pearson is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in consumer financial services litigation. Currently, Pearson serves as a Partner and Leader in Consumer Financial Services at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, a position held since May 2019. Previously, Pearson was a Partner at Ballard Spahr LLP, where involvement included leading the fintech practice and defending financial institutions in complex litigation. Prior to that role, Pearson was the national co-chair of the Consumer Financial Services Litigation practice group at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, which earned recognition as a Noted Firm by Chambers USA. Pearson's legal career began at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, contributing significantly to a successful financial services class action practice. Early career experience also includes work as a political consultant. Pearson holds a JD from the University of Southern California and a BA in Government from Claremont McKenna College.
