The Policy and Advisory team at Manatū Wāhine Ministry for Women, New Zealand, is responsible for developing, evaluating, and providing strategic policy advice aimed at improving outcomes for Wāhine Māori and all wāhine women and kōtiro girls in terms of social and economic wellbeing, participation in society, and safety. The team also manages New Zealand’s international reporting obligations regarding the status of women and provides support services to the Minister for Women, including identifying suitable women nominees for state sector boards and committees.
