Mark Bennett Fcipd

Mark Bennett FCIPD is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in public sector human resources management. Currently serving as the Director of HR OD & Transformation at Manchester City Council since April 2023, Mark has previously held significant roles, including Director of HR and Customer Services at Sheffield City Council from August 2017 to April 2023, and various positions at City of York Council from June 2005 to August 2017, such as Head of HR & OD and Senior HR Business Partner. Mark's career began at North Yorkshire County Council, where a role as a Human Resources Advisor in the Schools HR team was undertaken from April 1996 to June 2005. Mark holds a Master's degree and postgraduate diploma in personnel management from Leeds Beckett University, completed between 1997 and 1999.
