Mick Bennett

Mick Bennett currently serves as the Head of Football Operations and Senior Coaching Manager at Manchester City Football Club since June 2022, and previously held the position of Head Coach at Manchester City FC from September 2020. Prior experience includes coaching roles at IHM Football Academy, where Bennett was a former coach from October 2020 to June 2022, and serving as Academy Director at NEFTCHI PFK in Baku, Azerbaijan, from September 2018 to June 2020. Prior to that, significant contributions were made at Manchester United from June 2007 to September 2018, including roles as Head Coach MUFC School in Baku and as Lead Coach at Manchester United Soccer Schools in Mumbai. Additional coaching experience includes positions with Wigan Athletic, Yeovil Town FC Centre of Excellence, Bolton Wanderers Football Club, and serving as a live summariser for Bolton Wanderers FC. Mick Bennett holds multiple coaching qualifications, including a UEFA Pro License and UEFA A Licence.
