Shru Morris

Shru was the CEO of Napthens Solicitors, and was responsible for leading and implementing the firm’s strategy and had overall management of the business. With a clear strategic plan in place to take the firm forward to 2020, Shru worked alongside an Executive Board to deliver the firm’s Vision to: inspire people through passion, commitment and innovation, to achieve their goals so that they may in turn inspire their clients to achieve theirs.

Prior to her role as CEO, Shru was Napthens’ Finance Director where she helped drive performance across the business and lead the finance function.

Shru has worked in professional services for over 10 years, having worked at national accountancy firm RSM (previously Baker Tilly) in Manchester and more recently heading the finance department at Weightmans Solicitors in Liverpool. She has experience in audit, tax, mergers and acquisitions and finance transformation projects.

Shru joined Napthens in 2014 as Finance Director before becoming CEO in 2017. She lives in Lymm, Cheshire and grew up in Preston. She was educated at Queen Mary School in Lytham and graduated from the University of Liverpool. Shru is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Shru joined the Board of Governors on 29 March 2021 and is a member of the Audit Committee.
