Jon Taylor has a diverse range of work experience in content management, marketing, journalism, and communications. Jon started their career as a Work Experience Placement at Cavendish Press in 2013, where they conducted interviews. Jon then worked as a Freelance Football Writer for Backpage Football, producing features and earning recognition for the site. In 2014, Jon had a work placement at MEN Media, where they independently sourced and wrote stories for local papers. Jon also had freelance roles as a reporter for Salford Online and as an Editorial Assistant for FIFA.com, where they edited and published articles. Jon had a freelance role at the BBC as a Broadcast Assistant, responsible for inserting highlights into live streams. Jon then worked as a Journalist at Quays News, covering football, news, and music stories and utilizing multimedia techniques to enhance online content. From 2015 to 2017, Jon held roles at Media Agency Group, starting as a Content Writer and PR Executive before being promoted to Head of PR & Communications. Jon wrote content, managed social media, and conducted PR and advertising campaigns. Jon currently works at Peak as a Content Manager, producing strategic content and overseeing social media channels. Throughout their career, Jon has demonstrated a strong skill set in writing, editing, content creation, and social media management.

Jon Taylor completed their secondary education at St. Mary's College Sixth Form from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained their GCSE degree. Jon then pursued further education at the same institution from 2007 to 2009 to earn their A-Level degree. Jon Taylor later attended The University of Manchester from 2009 to 2012, where they achieved a BA (Hons) 2:1 in English Language. Jon furthered their studies by pursuing an MA in Journalism at The University of Salford from 2013 to 2015.
