Matt Hargreaves

Matt Hargreaves has extensive experience in sports marketing, legal counsel, and negotiations within the football industry. Currently serving as the Director of Football Negotiations at Manchester United since June 2023, Matt previously held various roles at adidas from September 2008 to June 2023, including Sports Marketing Director for North Europe, focusing on football players and scouting, as well as positions in legal counsel. Earlier experience includes a secondee role at Manchester United's legal department and positions at Brabners as a solicitor and at James Chapman & Co as a trainee solicitor and solicitor. Matt Hargreaves holds an LLB and a Post-graduate Diploma from The University of Sheffield, earned from 1999 to 2003.
