Peter Lofgren

Peter Lofgren is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over four decades in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Head of Group Engineering Operations at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group since October 2005, Peter oversees engineering operations worldwide, including pre-opening initiatives and hotel operations, along with managing the Group’s Fire, Health, Life, Safety, Security and Environment programme. Prior to this role, Peter was the Chief Engineer at The Excelsior Hong Kong and held various engineering leadership positions at ITT Sheraton, Holiday Inn Bahrain, and Euro Disney Resorts, contributing to significant hotel projects and openings in multiple countries. Peter's foundational education was completed at Sjofals Skolan in Harnosand, Sweden.
