Tarja Tyni

Tarja Tyni currently serves as Chairperson of the Board at Mandatum Incentives since May 2021 and holds the position of Senior Vice President at Mandatum since 2008, specializing in Corporates and Private Wealth Management. Tyni has an extensive background in corporate governance, having been a Board Member at Valmet from March 2016 to March 2022, Chairperson of the Board for Mandatum Life Investment Services from March 2015 to March 2021, and Board Member at Euroben Life & Pension Limited from March 2011 to March 2017. Tyni also gained significant experience as an Executive Director at Nordea Bank, leading Corporate Finance and Equities in Finland from 2007 to 2008, and held the same title at Nordea Corporate Finance from 1996 to 2007. Tyni began a career in capital markets at Union Bank of Finland/Merita Bank from 1989 to 1996 as Vice President. Educational qualifications include the Stanford Executive Program in Business from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2011 and studies at the University of Turku.
