Daniel Nutting

Daniel Nutting is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in both academic and practical applications of information security. Currently serving as a Manager and previously as a Principal Cyber Defense Consultant at Mandiant, Daniel has been integral to cyber defense strategies since August 2019. Prior experience includes roles at Publix Super Markets, where responsibilities ranged from managing IT Security Operations to leading digital forensics teams, and serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at Florida Southern College, where Daniel developed and taught cybersecurity curriculum. Daniel's earlier career in the U.S. Coast Guard encompassed various leadership roles, including Information Resources Manager and Electronic Maintenance Officer, building a well-rounded expertise in cybersecurity and incident response. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
