Derek Coulson

Derek Coulson is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in information security and risk management. Currently serving as Practice Leader for Security Transformation Services at Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, since January 2021, Derek has previously held senior managerial roles, including Senior Director positions focused on Security Solutions and Secure Enterprise Architecture. Prior to this, Derek was a Managing Enterprise Security Architect at Equifax from June 2018 to January 2021, significantly contributing to the growth of the company's information security architecture and engineering team amid breach recovery efforts. Derek's earlier tenure at Mandiant involved providing critical incident investigation and remediation services, while also holding various technical roles at Soapbox Systems, Martin's Potato Chips, York International, and The Core Group.
