Mary Vallarta

Mary Vallarta has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Mary most recently worked as the Marketing Director at Manduka starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tender Greens from 2018 to 2023, first as the Director of Marketing and then as the Brand Marketing Manager. At Tender Greens, they implemented various strategies to increase sales and brand recognition, such as promotional campaigns, social media partnerships, and content development.

Before joining Tender Greens, Mary co-founded FAB counsel in 2012 where they helped fashion companies launch and grow their businesses. Mary developed launch and expansion strategies incorporating PR, influencer marketing, and content marketing. Mary also contributed to the creation of SEO-driven blog posts, videos, and events that led to client conversions.

In 2017, Mary co-founded High Standards Agency, a company focused on helping cannabis brands establish connections with consumers. There, they successfully grew the company's Instagram following from 0 to over 8,000 followers in less than a year using organic practices.

Mary's earlier work experience includes roles such as Adjunct Instructor at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, Buyer at Metropark where they worked closely with vendors to increase profit margins and promote products, Associate Buyer at BCBG Max Azria where they managed the accessory business for the factory division, and Assistant Buyer at Macy's West where they assisted in maintaining and growing the women's fashion accessories business. Mary also gained experience in bookkeeping, merchandise production, and event planning as an Assistant to the Designer and Managing Partner at Candice Held Designs and as an assistant manager-intern at Mosci Botique.

Mary Vallarta attended UCLA from 2004 to 2008 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in an unspecified field of study.
