Aaron Stevens

Principal & Director at Maner Costerisan

With nearly 30 years of public accounting and finance experience, Aaron works exclusively with Maner Costerisan’s government and nonprofit clients. A principal and recent addition to the firm’s board of directors, he specializes in governmental and nonprofit financial statement auditing and consulting, conducting compliance audits for organizations receiving federal funding and subject to Uniform Guidance, and internal audits for District and Circuit courts.

Aaron began his career in public accounting in 1994. Shortly thereafter, he was appointed Treasurer and Finance Director for the St. Johns City Commission, serving two years in that capacity. After gaining valuable experience in the public sector, he returned to public accounting where he’s remained for more than two decades. Aaron joined Maner Costerisan in early 2019, in a merger with Stevens, Kirinovic & Tucker P.C. (SKT).

Passionate about helping clients develop solutions to complex accounting and auditing issues, Aaron credits his success to hard work, determination and self-accountability. He wakes up daily committed to being the trusted advisor his clients rely on and have confidence in. Developing long-standing professional relationships with clients across local, state and federal government is one of his favorite parts about his job.

A member of what one can only describe as an “accounting family,” Aaron is one of 11 children. Three of which followed in the footsteps of their father, all becoming accountants.

In his spare time, Aaron enjoys watching hockey, attending concerts and drinking craft beer.
