Kris Latchaw

Director, Administration at Maner Costerisan

Kris joined Maner Costerisan in 2011 as the Director of Administration. In her role, she’s responsible for managing and directing the firm’s operations, finance, human resources, and internal support services, including overseeing its recruiting and staffing efforts.

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Kris has over 20 years of professional experience in the accounting industry. Before joining Maner, she spent two years as an accounting manager for a consulting firm and 11 years with Plante Moran.

Kris is very involved in the CPA Firm Management Association (CPAFMA), serving as a national board member and current Education chair. She is also a past president of the association’s Michigan chapter. Kris collaborates and networks with national leaders of the CPA profession through her work with CPAFMA, sharing best practices and supporting and encouraging colleagues to learn and grow.

Working with numbers and solving problems has always come easily for Kris, which inspired her to pursue a career in accounting. Kris attributes her success to “harmony.” She makes a point to listen to all sides of a conversation, asks hard questions, and does her very best to hold people accountable – all in a way that benefits the greater good.
