Chris Gush has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Chris started their career in 2002 as a Desktop Support Engineer at Metropolitan Health Group, where they provided network and hardware support. Chris then moved on to Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Desktop Engineer, responsible for desktop rollout and support at Barclays. In 2006, they worked as a Desktop Support Engineer at NHA, focusing on a desktop backup project. Chris also worked as a Desktop Engineer at Getronics, managing the rollout of new desktops at Barclays Wealth. From 2007 to 2011, they served as an Information Systems Administrator at Neil Harvey and Associates, gaining experience in operational and Wintel team areas. Chris then joined acsis Ltd as an Architecture Specialist before moving to Old Mutual Wealth as an Infrastructure Manager. In 2019, they became the Information Technology Manager at Old Mutual Limited. Currently, Chris holds the positions of Head of Technology and Chief Technology Officer at Mango5. Additionally, in 2020, they founded Genesis Carpentry, where they create custom and durable contemporary furniture.
Chris Gush attended the University of Cape Town in 2016, where they studied IT Management Principals and Methodologies. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2011, they pursued a degree in MCITP specializing in Microsoft Exchange at Bytes People Solutions. Their education also includes a Diploma in Information Technology Networking from Varsity College, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004.
