James Butland

James Butland has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. James most recently worked at Mangopay as a Managing Director for the UK and also held the position of VP Payment Network. Prior to this, they served as a Vice President at Airwallex. At TransferWise, they were the European Banking Lead, focusing on building new partnerships and improving processes. Before that, they took a break from finance to found a running business called The Marathon Pack, where they signed partnership deals with marathons and suppliers. James also worked at Man Investments as the Head of Brokerage, Business & Risk Management Analyst, and Operations Analyst. Their earlier experience includes working at Old Mutual Asset Managers in the Investor Services department.

James Butland attended the University of Portsmouth from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in European Studies, with a focus on Politics, Economics, and History.
