Rodney Altman

Rodney Altman is a highly experienced professional in healthcare investments and emergency medicine. Currently serving as Managing Director at Wells Fargo Strategic Capital since September 2019, Rodney specializes in late-stage venture capital and private equity within the healthcare sector, focusing on healthcare services, IT, medical technology, diagnostics, and biotech/pharma. In addition to this role, Rodney has been a part-time Emergency Physician at Stanford University Medical Center since March 2003 and has held various board member positions at organizations such as Mangrove Management Partners, Array Behavioral Care, and ConcertoCare. Previous experience includes a Managing Director role at Spindletop Capital and Regional Medical Director at TeamHealth, where Rodney managed a $50M P&L. Rodney holds an MD from McGill University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, complemented by an Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Illinois.
