Maiya Holliday

Maiya Holliday has over 14 years of work experience in web development, management, and operations. In 2007, they began their career as a Front End Web Developer at Computer Courage. Maiya then moved on to Global Service Corps in 2005, where they served as the Director of Operations, managing volunteer programs in Thailand and Tanzania, developing websites, and coordinating internships. In 2010, they began working as the Web Manager for Two Degrees Food, where they were responsible for front end development, website traffic growth, website UI/UX, and overseeing all web related projects. Maiya also managed a creative team to source graphic design and copy. In 2013, they became the Web Development Lead at Tomato Sherpa, where they were responsible for front end development, website UI/UX, and overseeing all web related projects. In 2019, they became a Founding Signatory at We the Change, Women Leading Business for Good. Most recently, in 2009, they founded and became the CEO of Mangrove Web Development, a Certified B Corp, leading a team of designers and developers to create websites for socially and environmentally conscious clients.

Maiya Holliday attended Miramonte High School from 1997 to 2000. Maiya then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Development Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, which they completed in 2005. No additional certifications are listed.
