David L.

David L. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. David started their career at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy, participating in a program on Space Development. David then worked as a Project Manager at Greene's Energy Group, managing pipeline projects in the Gulf Coast region. After that, they served as a Business Development Manager at Balfour Beatty Construction US, focusing on the growth of the academia business sector.

David also worked at Structure Tone Southwest as a Director of Business Development and later joined Tellepsen as an Assistant Superintendent, leading onsite supervision for commercial construction projects. David then worked at O'Donnell/Snider Construction as a Project Manager, responsible for the overall success of projects in the Greater Houston Area.

Recently, David held the role of Producer/Host at That Space Podcast, where they interviewed executives and founders in the space community to build interest and support for the new space economy. David also served as an Aerospace Community Leader at the Ion Houston, co-hosting monthly NASA Tech Talks and Networking events. Currently, David is the Director of Business Development at Manhattan Construction Company.

David L. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Architecture from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree (M.S.) in Space Architecture at the University of Houston from 2010 to 2012.
