Hannah Pennington is currently serving as Deputy Chief for Gender-Based Violence Policy in the Special Victims Division of the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, a role held since August 2022. Prior to this position, Hannah worked at the NYC Mayor's Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence for a decade, where roles included Deputy Commissioner for Policy and Training, Assistant Commissioner for Policy and Training, and Executive Director of the Manhattan Family Justice Center. Experience also includes serving as Bronx Legal Director at Sanctuary for Families and as an Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, following a position as Law Clerk for the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Hannah holds a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Labor and Industrial Relations from Cornell University.
