Ellen Xu is a PhD Candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Postbac IRTA Research Fellow at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, focusing on antigen processing and presentation through molecular biological techniques. Ellen has experience as a teacher at Manhattan Review and previously at C2 Education, where teaching strategies for standardized tests were emphasized. Ellen also has a strong research background, having completed an MSc in Integrated Immunology at the University of Oxford, where analysis of T cell responses to HIV was conducted. Prior positions include internships at Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth, Dartmouth-Hitchcock, and various research roles exploring polymer synthesis and medical device integrity, paired with a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College.
