Tatyana Vdovina began their work experience in 2010 at the Center for Applied Linguistics, where they held various roles including K-12 Professional Development Specialist, Professional Development Project Manager, and Test Administrator Training Coordinator. In 2019, they joined Manhattan Strategy Group as a Managing Consultant and later became the Deputy Project Director for the NCELA project. In 2009, they worked at Montgomery County Community College as an Instructor in the Testing and Assessment in ESOL Classroom, ESL Program Coordinator, and Instructor in English as a Second Language.

Tatyana Vdovina holds a Master's degree in Second Language Acquisition, which they obtained from the University of Maryland. Tatyana completed their Master's degree program between 2003 and 2009.
