Cheryl Jones

Cheryl Jones has over 30 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Cheryl started their career as a Transcriptionist at Memorial Medical Center in 1990 and worked there for 8 years. In 1998, they joined Mankato Clinic as a Transcriptionist and later became the Transcription Supervisor. Over the years, Cheryl advanced in their career and held various roles including Director of Health Information, Director of Health Information & EHR, and most recently, Director of Health Information, EHR & Quality Resources at Mankato Clinic since August 2014.

Cheryl Jones attended Northwood Technical College from 1988 to 1990, where they studied Records Management, Transcription, and Medical Office Management. Prior to that, they attended Northland College from 1986 to 1987, studying English and Secondary Education. In 2004, Cheryl obtained the Certified in Healthcare Privacy (CHP) certification from AHIMA.
