Simon O'Reilly

Simon O'Reilly has a diverse work experience that spans multiple companies and roles. Simon currently works at Manna Drone Delivery as a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at BD as a Senior Design and Development Engineer, where they led a project to develop a solution to a major risk facing the company. Their responsibilities included mechanical design, electrical circuit analysis, lab testing, team leadership, software algorithm development, data analysis, and managing external consultancies. Before BD, Simon worked at Jaguar Land Rover as a CAE Engineer, where they focused on analyzing the structural performance of vehicle bodies. Simon also has experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Numa Engineering Services Ltd. and as a Google Lunar X Prize Team Member at White Label Space.

Simon O'Reilly completed their education in a chronological manner. Simon first attended Trinity College Dublin from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. Afterward, they pursued further education at Cranfield University from 2012 to 2013, earning a Master's Degree in Aerospace Vehicle Design. Additionally, in February 2016, Simon obtained a certification in Duolingo German Fluency: Elementary (Estimated) from the institution Duolingo.
