Thad Schuler

Thad Schuler has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Thad started their career at Ralcorp Holdings as a Purchasing Agent, where they were responsible for the procurement of packaging materials. Thad also served as a liaison between Marketing, Sales, and manufacturing facilities. After that, they worked at May Department Stores as a Purchasing Agent, managing the procurement of non-merchandise related goods and services for multiple regional department store companies.

Later, Schuler joined Aurora Foods Inc as a Senior Manager of Commodities Purchasing. In this role, they were responsible for risk management and procurement of commodities and raw materials. Thad played a key role in a cost-effectiveness program aimed at achieving supply chain-wide savings.

Schuler then moved on to Panera Bread, where they held the position of Senior Purchasing Manager and later became the Director of Contract Manufacturing. In these roles, they oversaw the sourcing, negotiation, and distribution of bakery supplies, including managing relationships with contract manufacturing partners. Their responsibilities included overseeing manufacturing, nutrition, quality assurance, purchasing, distribution, customer service, and logistics.
