Kashif Latif

Kashif Latif is the current Scientific Advisor at MannKind. Kashif has over 25 years of experience in the field of research and development and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. Prior to joining MannKind, Kashif worked as an Assistant Director, Research System at Purdue Pharma from January 1999 to December 2004. In this role, they were responsible for writing, reviewing and approving IOPQ protocols, scripts, summary reports and other validation-related documents. Kashif also implemented a call center tracking system to increase the quality and level of support provided on first contact with end users. In addition, Kashif developed and implemented training, career development and coaching plans to maintain a professional and well-rounded team.

From January 1990 to December 1999, Kashif Latif worked as the Helpdesk Manager at Transamerica. In this role, they were responsible for providing support to end users on a variety of issues related to software applications, hardware and networking. Kashif also prepared and delivered formal performance appraisals and salary and promotion recommendations. In 1999, Kashif redesigned the change control process for regulated systems, producing a simplified and more efficient system. This process became the company standard after implementation.
