Bob Presland

Bob Presland is an experienced professional with a career spanning over five decades in finance, project management, and systems consultancy. Since September 1999, Bob has served as Head of Corporate Services at Manpower UK. Prior to this role, Bob was Finance Director/Finance Manager at Xavier Computer Systems Ltd from 1981 to 1999, where responsibilities included managing finances during the company's transition to public listing. Bob also worked as a Project and Systems Manager, focusing on ERP and accounting package installations for wholesale and distribution sectors. Earlier in Bob's career, freelance consultancy work was undertaken from 1977 to 1981 for major companies, including Allied Breweries and Rank Xerox. Bob began the career as a Programmer/Systems Analyst at Nixdorf Computer AG from 1966 to 1977, with a significant international experience in Australia. The career commenced in the actuarial field at Friends Provident from 1963 to 1966, which was later transitioned due to a shift in interests. Bob holds four "A" levels, including two Grade A's in Pure Maths and Geography from Dorking County Grammar School.
